Fashion brands are teaming up with sportswear giants to offer adorable activewear for every occasion. From cycling around town to having a kick about and playing a game of tennis, these designers prove that sports can be done in the utmost style.

Shrimps x Rapha

Cult brand Shrimps, known for its whimsical day-dresses, pearl-emblazoned handbags and candy-coloured faux fur coats has embarked on a somewhat unexpected collaboration with high-performance cycling brand Rapha. The result? A fresh spin on cycling gear – think lyra and mesh printed baselayers, racerback vests with pleated hems, a baby blue skort and a gingham-smocked wind jacket and ponytail cap with a detachable bow, for on and off-bike chic.

Shrimps founder Hannah Weiland has carried her painterly strokes over in a grapevine print and looks feature the brand’s iconic Shrimp logo. The collection combines Shrimps’ cutesy aesthetic with techy fabrics you can actually cycle to work in – what’s not to like?

The collection went live yesterday exclusively at rapha.cc and shrimps.com– so get on your bike!

Martine Rose x Nike

It was back in 2019 that Martine Rose and Nike announced their official working relationship – since then, all “drops” have been big hits. Her playful takes on Nike classics, in particular her Nike Shox Mule MR 4s, have garnered her a cult-like following amongst the fashion pack and sneakerheads alike.

The pair have joined forces again ahead of the Women’s World Cup with a series of sportswear and tailored separates. Think Southgate-esque suiting, embossed with Nike ticks, trench coats for watching from the sidelines and signature reimagined football jerseys (reminiscent of ‘90s goalkeeper kits) that will have us all acting like hooligans come release day.

The collection goes live at martine-rose.com on July 25 and on nike.com and select retailers on July 27, so set your reminder.

Ganni x Prince

Playful Scandi brand Ganni knows a thing or two about a collab. Previous pairings have seen the house join forces with Levi’s, 66North and Barbour to bring a contemporary edge to these functionality-focused brands. But this summer, just in time for Wimbledon in the UK, Ganni has teamed up with American tennis purveyors Prince, leading manufacturers of signature ‘P’ printed rackets and other sporting apparel.

Designed for on and off-court style, the capsule collection includes cool-girl tennis whites (a vest, t-shirt and skort) featuring a mashup of the Ganni x Prince logo, as well as a diagonal check sweater vest, bag and cap all rendered in emerald green and deep purple that will place you centre court.

The collection is available at select GANNI stores, online at GANNI.com and Princesports.com.
