The leopard print coat has become a timeless wardrobe staple for those looking to make an impact. Perennial favourite Brigitte Bardot epitomises sensuality and confidence in hers, and ever since we’ve been on the hunt for the perfect spots. Up with a roar? Max&Co’s new collaboration with Nigerian-born, London-based designer Duro Olowu, who just presented an intimate salon-style presentation at London Fashion Week, has birthed the chicest update since Bardot made an entrance with hers.

A sister to the Max Mara brand, Max & Co is renowned for its Made-In-Italy twist on modern staples, and their successful &Collaboration series sees partners with a wide range of creatives.

The new partnership with Duro for SS23 sees his expertise in print and textile come alive, an exuberant ode to Nigerian prints and patterns, inspired as though through the lens of photographer Luigi Ghirri’s Italy. The British-Nigerian designer continues his use of dynamic juxtapositions and silhouettes to create vibrant yet timeless pieces.

The resulting collection, People, Places, Colour, will cover you in spirited shades of azure, hot pink and ‘Ghirri’; intertwining romantic florals and daring stripes - and of course, a bold leopard coat worth lusting over.

The coat and collection is available to shop at harrods.com
